Hair Confusion is not a typical manufacturer of custom made wigs. We are a team of professional stylists and cosmetologists who specialize in hair extensions, weaves, toupees, wig hair pieces and their application. With elite clientele ranging from film to music, we have been styling stars for over 35 years in the Beverly Hills and Los Angeles area.
Until now, our products have been exclusively reserved for the elite. However, because of growing interest and a desire to reach out to women who have lost their hair due to illness, we are now opening our doors to the public.

Our Founder Vivian Swan. Cutting Edge, Innovative and Visionary are just a few words to describe Vivian Swan. This accomplished professional has taken hair styling to new heights. As a native of Dallas, Texas, she began her career at Booker T. Washington technical school where she studied Cosmetology. Upon graduation, Vivian relocated to Los Angeles. There, she attended Harreyette Beauty College and received her certification. It was then that she embarked upon her career working in several upscale beauty salons refining her craft and gaining knowledge of all aspects of the beauty business. She later became a Master of Cosmetology instructor and Master Weaver through her work and training at Pera of Hollywood.
In 1972, her dream came full circle when she opened Vivian’s Hair Palace and Weaving Institute. Since then, she has earned the reputation of Master Weaver and Hair Stylist throughout the entertainment community. Her elite clientele includes stars such as Little Richard, Miles Davis and Rebe Jackson of the Jackson family, just to name a few.
After years of working with lace fronts, application, ventilation, and hair replacement she is now devoted to teaching the art here, with Hair Confusion.
